Luwex, a.s.
History
Luwex, plc., was founded on 29 February 1988 as the fifth joint-stock company in the then Czechoslovak Socialist Republic.
The founders were important Czechoslovak and Austrian ventilation companies. We are currently the oldest joint-stock company operating on the market. Essential changes were made in 1998, when several special purpose associations of Czech ventilation technology companies wanted to increase technical, production and assembly capacity so operations of the company could expand to the field of heavy ventilation technology and industrial filtration.
In June 2020, Luwex joined the GREMI group, which also operates in the field of ventilation systems, extraction and mechanical systems of buildings. The Slovakian company GreMi KLIMA was significantly strengthened thanks to their acquisition of Luwex on the Czech market. In addition, the merger of these two dynamic companies created the most important Czech-Slovak player in the field. In addition to Slovakia and the Czech Republic, GreMi KLIMA has a representative office in Poland and Slovenia.

MEDICAL FACILITIES
GENERAL FACULTY HOSPITAL MOTOL
The Motol Hospital is the largest medical facility in the Czech Republic with extensive outpatient care and 2,199 beds. Within the complex, we participated in the reconstruction of buildings B and H, for which we supplied and installed an internal ventilation and cooling system. At present, we also provide a regular service for ventilation and refrigeration.

ELI RESEARCH CENTER
We have installed a complete ventilation and filtration system in the European research center ELI Beamlines. This facility operates the most intensive laser system in the world. During the implementation, we had to deal primarily with extreme requirements for the cleanliness of the environment and minimizing the impact on the building. All supplied devices are mechanically isolated from the construction site in order to minimize the transmission of vibrations to the installed scientific instruments.
